Case Study: Bramble & Thyme, Florist

I recently had the pleasure of working with florist, Fiona Wallace of Bramble & Thyme. Fiona creates beautiful arrangements of flowers  for weddings, workshops & all other occasions from her home studio, just outside of Stirling.
Fiona has travelled all over the UK, due to work commitments, along with her husband for many years.  She has now returned back to Scotland to the beautiful Trossachs countryside.

Inspired by her beautiful surroundings, Fiona and her chocolate lab Nala spend their days enjoying the fresh air, gardening and cultivating some of their own flowers in raised beds. Producing her own stunning specimens for her creative floral arrangements.

On this occasion, it was a promotional photo shoot, for an exciting new business based in Kippen, The Gin Thing!

Fiona dressed the mobile gin bar, ( a converted two horse trailer) for a rustic-themed wedding, while also suppling the more usual wedding flower requirements; bouquet, button holes and flowers for the brides hair.

Using as many locally sourced flowers as possible, Fiona created some beautiful arrangements to help give us just the right feel and atmosphere we were looking for. The results you can see from the photos are amazing.

The meadow boxes are very eye-catching and are ideal to give an impression of height and extravagance. They looked very heavy and perhaps not very practical, but surprisingly they were really light and easy to manoeuvre about, which was just what we needed. Had we went for anything smaller I think the horse box would have been too dominate and not have worked as well.
